Virginia Babb has been a Realtor in Knoxville, TN for over 15 years. Originally from Mobile, AL, Virginia moved to Knoxville in 1993. Soon after she met and married her husband, Ned Babb. She earned an undergraduate degree from the University of Virginia in Architectural History and an MBA in Marketing from the University of Tennessee.
Besides helping her clients have the best possible home buying and selling experiences, Virginia has always been involved in the Knoxville community. She served in leadership roles with the Junior League of Knoxville and learned so much about her community while an 18 year volunteer with the Introduction Knoxville program.
While her 3 children were attending public school, Virginia became passionate about the Knox County Public School system. She helped start the Foundation at Sequoyah Elementary School, served as the PTA President at Bearden Middle School and served as the Development Chair for the West High School Foundation. She also was selected to take part in the Leadership Knoxville Class of 2010 and in the University of Tennessee Chancellor's Associates Program.
Virginia continued her passion for the a strong public school system in Knox County by serving as an elected member of the Board of Education from 2018-2022. Currently, outside of work Virginia serves on the Boards for the Rotary Club of Knoxville, Reach Them to Teach Them and the Knoxville Garden Club. She also enjoys trying out new restaurants in Knoxville, traveling to see family in Alabama, Dallas and New York City and gardening.
Her passion for her community allows Virginia to have in-depth knowledge of the Knoxville community and both the private and public school options. She brings this expertise to helping her real estate clients through their buying and selling processes.
